Transforming agriculture into the leading industry for social, environmental, and economic sustainability.
What We Do
We believe innovative sustainability is fundamental to Humanity’s continued prosperity. We’re here to identify and co-generate solutions with our partners that will make agriculture both sustainable and profitable for all those involved.
In collaboration with our partners, we identify and co-generate innovative solutions to some of agriculture’s toughest supply chain challenges.
We’re transparent about where our products come from and how they are made. We want each person in our supply chain to know they are a part of something bigger.
We create profit incentives for individuals at all parts of our supply chains, spurring innovation and putting money in the hands of those who make our products work.
Sustainability Should be Profitable
In the words of one of America’s earliest labor activists and authors, Upton Sinclair, “It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”
Annually, researchers and activists report more human rights abuses, environmental precipices, and impending disasters than a human being can name in a lifetime. There are individuals who can end these daily tragedies, but they do not.
These individuals aren’t bad people; rather, it’s the human condition to believe, however outlandish, the facts that support an existing position when doing otherwise would compromise an individual’s place in the world.
Homni wants to change this by making sustainability and human rights profitable. Our mission is to facilitate socially, environmentally, and financially sustainable supply chains that outcompete traditional business models. We envision a world where sustainability equates to profitability.
